“Intelligence plus character- that is the true goal of education.”

Middle School
The middle school years are exciting, unique and challenging, and our experienced faculty understands the specific needs of developing adolescents. Our middle school curriculum focuses on the fundamentals: reading, writing, science, Latin, social studies, apologetics and STEM. In middle school classrooms we encourage our students to use their God given talents to see success in the classroom, hallway, lunch room, and outside the school walls. Through service projects our students positively impact the community around them for Christ.
The middle school’s rigorous curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of insightful reading, writing decisively and speaking persuasively. Students are taught in core subject areas (Math, Science, History, Social Studies, and English), while also being challenged to integrate all knowledge with a Christ-centered worldview through Apologetics. Extracurricular classes include Physical Education, Music, Latin, STEM, and Art. Students work with their homeroom teacher to learn positive study habits and organizational skills. They are given the opportunity to mentor students in the younger school, and grow as leaders in our community.
Curriculum & Assessment
CCS uses the Bob Jones University Curriculum, offering a cohesive learning experience for our students from PreK-8th grade. Student progress is monitored through classroom work and testing, and use of the STAR assessment tests.
